Or the true nature of infanticide and what the current narrative tells us about the reality of parental prejudice.
If you think I’m being deliberately inflammatory with the headline I want to be clear that it is not without good reason.
After being spammed by my more left-wing friends with a repeated image exposing the virtues of informing men that rape is wrong, you could say I’ve been “triggered” into action.
Now in case you’ve not been around since the dawn of time, rape is illegal. In fact, I’m going to say that in the Western world at least, everybody knows it’s illegal.
The fact that some men rape isn’t down to the fact that they are unaware that rape isn’t totally fine. They know it’s wrong. That does not stop them.
If we learned anything from the case of that douchebag Brock Turner, when he was discovered in the act of raping an unconscious girl, he ran away. Why? Because he KNEW it was wrong. He KNEW it was illegal.
So all this poster goes to do is stigmatise men. This was exactly its purpose. Sure, you could argue that it started “conversations” because of its red-flag-like message.
But really, if we’ve learned anything from the third wave feminist movement, it is that men are the enemy and need to be told so.
Now for balance, I should make it clear that this confrontational approach has actually been recognised by a large number of leading feminists as being counter productive. Because not only does it force men away from the movement; it also forces women. Hence the rise of the “HeForShe” movement which has been promoted by the likes of Emma Watson. This hasn’t actually gone down too well. Even getting a thorough drubbing from the likes of Time. If anybody is in the mood to get annoyed about something, I suggest reading that Time article. But I digress.
So to redress the matter with some cold hard facts I thought it should be noted that women are also not without their vices as well as virtues. One fact that is never mentioned in the mainstream media is;
Women murder their children 2.4 times more than men.
Despite allegations that men are poor, if not actually dangerous parents, this U.S. Department of Health & Human Services “Child Maltreatment” report from 2006 should make everybody think very hard. Or at least those who chose to be enlightened to reality and not continue to live a cosy bubble of like voiced certainty. 😀
The report can be found here.
The data, analysed in it’s most basic form shows that of children abused by one parent between 2001 and 2006, 70.6% were abused by their mothers, whereas 29.4% were abused by their fathers alone.
For children who died at the hands of one parent between 2001 and 2006, 70.8% were killed by their mothers, whereas 29.2% were killed by their fathers.
And contrary to media portrayals that child victims of abuse are predominately female, boys constituted fully 60% of all child fatalities.
Of the total crimes, regardless of single-parent, couple, mixed or whatever, women are still the major perpetrator.
Out of all crimes, men make up 42.1% of perpetrators while women are 57.9%
So… I say again, in the style of the poster regarding men.
“Can we teach women not to kill their sons?”
If you find yourself affected by what you have read in this post, good, it means you understand we need to be better human beings.
