Lynx/Axe courting controversy again – Unleash the chaos…. of 9/11?

You have to wonder why, after screening their latest campaign, Unilever executives didn’t ask the obvious question.

But after a series of ever increasing “accidents”, the latest “Unleash the chaos” backs away to a cityscape seen from over river, on fire and in chaos. Two large Lynx (or Axe) cans complete the picture (luckily not placed TOO close together), with rising smoke behind them.

 

So, did nobody at Unilever say “Wait… you don’t think this looks a bit like 9/11?”

And if they did…. how did the advert get the go ahead?
