The BBC are proudly reporting on the latest solar farm, this one in Wales. Its costing the tax payer £2.5 million pounds. But how much bang for your buck? Well, it “could potentially” power 300 homes. THREE HUNDRED! Lets role out the banners and celebrate then.
That’s £8,333.33 to power each home. Best of all, the place wouldn’t be cost effective to run at all if it wasn’t for the Government funded scheme to pay “renewable” generators extra for each “green” kilowatt produced.
But where is that money coming from? Well, if you were able to get an itemised bill on our electricity and gas bill, you’d see. Because an average of £200 of hidden tax is being added to each and every energy bill in the UK.
Oh, I’m sorry, didn’t the BBC mention that? Rather than blame the power companies. It’s the green policies of the current Government that has caused the huge price spike in the cost of domestic energy. But you’re not meant to realise this, and it’s been made clear to the energy companies that require a Government licence to create and sell energy in this country, that they should tow the line and shut up. Which is why they are blaming rises in the price of energy (it’s actually dropping) and “trouble in the middle east” (despite most of our gas being sourced from Russia / the North Sea).
It’s all past of the way your happily EU hijacked Government plans to pay its way for the CO2 trading debacle and the rest. Not to mention the hundreds of millions it sends off to the UN and other climate bodies. Of course, nobody wants to talk about it. Because if they do, they are shouted down.
